Cleanings & Prevention
Our experienced and dedicated team collaborates with each patient to maintain the naturally healthy aspects of your teeth and mouth while creating a dental plan to deter the new, continuing, and repeating issues or conditions. By using preventative measures before any problems arise, you can have a healthy and beautiful smile for life.
Dental X-Rays
At Wells Family Dentistry, we use digital radiography (digital x-rays), the latest technology available, to get dental x-rays. Using an electronic sensor instead of traditional x-ray film, we can capture and store the digital image in our computer system so our staff can instantly view the x-ray.
CEREC – Single Visit Dentistry
At Wells Family Dentistry, we offer the convenience of single visit crowns using CEREC® CAD/CAM technology. Using this latest technology, we offer a color-matched custom designed ceramic crown while you relax in the comfort of our office in JUST ONE VISIT!
Composite Fillings
We use composite, or tooth colored, fillings to repair teeth with decay, fractures, cracks or other issues. Our team will discuss with you the many filling materials available to find the best options for you and your teeth. Composite fillings, versus the also popular silver amalgam fillings, are better for more visible areas of teeth since they can be easily matched to your teeth color.
Invisalign
Want an alternative to the bulky brackets, ugly wires, and painful bands of regular braces? Invisalign is the newest way to straighten your teeth without the problems of traditional braces!Invisalign is a system of clear, removable, custom-molded aligners that will straighten your teeth comfortable and in less time than traditional braces. They can be used for minor adjustments or extensive straightening on almost all adults and teens. They can be used to treat problems like overbites, underbites, crossbites, and other teeth-straightening issues, Invisalign has major advantages to other straightening alternatives.
Lumineers
Lumineers provide an ultra-thin alternative to traditional veneers to cosmetically enhance teeth. Easily applied with no teeth grinding or shaving, Lumineers can cover your teeth stains, chips, discolor, or misalignments to give you a permanently more beautiful smile. Lumineers are created from Cerinate porcelain, a material as thin as contact lenses. They can be placed over existing dental work without any replacements last over twenty years. In order to properly install your Lumineers, two to three visits are required.
Zoom Teeth Whitening
The latest in teeth whitening technology moves us back into the office atmosphere and allows your dental care professional to properly administer the procedure. A simple and non-invasive way to quickly enhance not only your smile but your confidence as well.
Wisdom Teeth Extraction
Wisdom teeth are the last adult teeth to erupt into the mouth. Most people have four wisdom teeth at the back of the mouth — two on the top, two on the bottom. Impacted wisdom teeth are third molars that do not have enough room to emerge or develop normally.
Implants
Dental implants, artificial roots and teeth (usually made of titanium) surgically positioned into the upper or lower jawbone, look very natural and enhance or restore a patient’s smile. They replace missing teeth and provide a fixed solution to partial or complete dentures. Occasionally, normal wear and tear requires implants to be re-tightened or replaced, but most dental implants are very stable, strong, and durable for many years.
I.V. Sedation
Intra-venous (I.V.) sedation, sometimes called conscious sedation, is a safe and effective way to provide a relaxing experience during your dental procedure. Sedative medications are delivered through an I.V. infusion that allows us to carefully adjust the amount of medication you receive to keep you in the perfect state of relaxation.
Conscious Sedation
To use Nitrous Oxide/Oxygen Sedation, known to most patients as “laughing gas,” the patient inhales the gas administered by the dentist. This is the most commonly used form of sedation because it works quickly, it is easy for the doctor to control, there are few side effects, and patients recover so quickly that they can drive themselves home.
